In the process of connecting the radio capicitor wires to the brake switch wires, the left brake and rear turn signal stopped working. I did see a small spark while initially connecting the wires. All fuses and bulbs are good and all other lighting works normally, including the left rear tail light. Evidentally I dissrupted something...any suggestions on where to start troubleshooting would be appreciated. I don't see a separate fuse for these functions.

Re: '66 left brake&rear turn signal not working...
HI Rob use a test light at the rear tail light to make sure its not the bulb and to be sure that your not getting power. If no power check under the dash at the turn signal switch connector by the steering column,(Turn signal and brake same wire)sometimes you can get a bad connection there. esp. if you have been in there messin around good luck Phil 8063- Top

Re: '66 left brake&rear turn signal not working...
Phil,
The connection in the wiring harness had come loose while I was messing around under there. Guess it was just a coincidence that I was connecting the wires to the brake switch. Thanks...I like when a problem turns out to have an easy and quick fix.- Top
