    '54 engine nr question

    I've found a potential # matching enging '54 car to buy but the ad states the engine numbers are: (Pad #0447425F54YG) cast #3835913. The judging manual suggests the cast # should be 3835911. Who is right, who is wrong?

      See link below of the car I had in mind. What I can make of the photo's the head isn't correct #241 as well...

              Google search indicates 3835913 is a 1954-55 casting number for a 235 cu. in. 6 cyl. head. But not for Corvette, they were 3836241.

                  Carburetors - Carter Model YH 2066SA, #3706989

                  Radiator - 3130953

                  Battery - Delco 15AA6-W

                  Starter - 1108035

                  Generator - 1102793

                  Voltage Regulator - 1118725 1st design

                  1118827 2nd design

                  Coil - 1115394

                  Distributor - 1112314
