    Re: 1966, 1965 and 1967 Horn Buttons

    Dave,

I know for sure that the leading edges of the chrome part of the face are not as sharp on the 67 horn button.

Re: 1967 don't say Corvette, others midqueers do

Only 63-64 horn caps have the word Corvette in the horn cap. The 65-67 does not. Basically, the only difference between the 65-66 and the 67 is the removal of the sharp edge for 67. There were some later 67's that has the checkered flag black/white pattern reversed. 65 to early 67 used the pattern that had the upper left corner in black. Late 67 and all replacements after that time seemed to have the late 67 pattern.

geeze I've forgotten all that stuff

I could quote chapter and verse. Now I cannot even read my own catalog. Plus
I'm lazy now. Should I delete it? or suffer the humiliation? I can't even remember my password.

            Geoffrey Who,

Nah, leave it. We all make mistakes here. Last year when I posted and said that Chevrolet distributor lower gears had eight teeth and John Hinckley was nice enough to correct it and not make a big deal out of my mistake, I didn't delete my post. (it was 3:30 AM and I was half asleep tho....) I finally got over it after about six months of harassment in email. It's the CRS thing that everyone talks about. I have it too.

              Actually making a mistake periodically...

is a good thing. It reminds us that we are human. Admitting to it means your a real man. Just ask my wife.

Our 11th anniversary was yesterday; I thought it was today (my wife clarified that for me yesterday)

                      What, me forget?

How timely. I was told yesterday that I had not phoned home on our 42nd back in July. I must have been pre-occupied while on the Road Tour. Bad Charlie, bad bad. Anyway, I recoverd nicely, blamed it on TC since I was in Kansas at the time, Hays as I recall, headed west.
                      Cheers,
                      Charlie
