Re: 1963 Aftermarket AC
re aftermarket ac tom freeman if you are using the car as a driver and not showing it do what you want when you put it on the market it could have an effect depending upon the car is it a numbers matching car if so then at resale it could drop the value not a numbers car then the restorer will have a lot more to worry about then the ac but then it will probley stay a driver so the ac could add to its value all depends upon the use of the car it's your car do with it what makes you happy enjoy your vette tom- Top

Re: 1963 Aftermarket AC
re aftermarket ac ed jennings marshall whether or not a modification devalues a car depends on who you're asking to the hard core purist yes it would definately devalue the car to someone who drives the car on a regular basis in a hot climate it might enhance the value i drive both my and my on a regular basis particularily the while i am concerned about maintaining as correct and original an appearance as practical my number one concern is reliability followed closely by driveability i will compromise originality for the sake of reliability and driveability a simple example is radial tires don't have any illusions about wining any shows but i sure enjoy driving the car beauty is in the eye and pocketbook of the beholder- Top
