    DISTRIBUTOR REBUILDER RE-JOE LUCIA

    Joe . Back on Feb 21 you posted a message regarding a Distributor rebuilder called Hi-Tech Innivations in Florida. You gave two phone #s, the first one comes up saying that it does not exist any more and the second one which is a 1-88 # either does not work from where I am or it is no good. I tried information but the operator couldn't find Panorama City. Can you help out with any new #s or if Panorama City is under another City? Thanks in advance Sheldon

      I am not sure you want anyone to respond other than Joe and I most certainly don't wish to step on anyones toes, especially Joe's. Hi Tech Innovations no longer has a toll free number but they are still the best in the business : 727-942-4003

          You might also consider contacting T.I. Specialty (765-962-4265) Dave Fiedler, owner....He's located in Richmond,IN....Though generally T.I. works on TI ignition systems, Dave currently is rebuilding my 66's standard distributor. I posted the problems I was dealing with regarding my distributor a couple weeks ago. Acting upon the information and advice I received I made contact with more than several shops and individuals around the country. I settled on T.I. Specialty, based upon the knowledge and sincerity that was conveyed during my phone conversation with Dave. (I don't know that T.I. Specialty will take on large numbers of non-TI distributors or not, but believe it worth your time to check.)Good luck.

              No offense, at all. I was out enjoying a sunny day and listening to fantastic jazz on the wharf in Santa Cruz, CA yesterday, so I've been off-line.

              Anyway, I'll just add that the reason that I particularly like Hi-Tech Innovations is that they have the capability to install new distributor bushings and JIG-BORE THEM TO PERFECT ALIGNMENT. As far as I know, they are the only ones that have this capability, but others may.

                  Good to have ya back, Joe. You didn't by any chance get to hear Clark Terry, did you? If you do, don't pass it up. He puts on a helluva show.
