    65 oil pressure line

I broke the oil presure line,at the engine block. Is there a tool to duplicate the flare at the end of the line? The engine is a small block, the line looks like it's copper.

    Tom,

The line looks like brass, but it is steel. You can get a replacement from Long Island Corvette. They sell both the small block and big block variations (the latter with the 1 1/2 turns).

      Tom and Bill-----

I agree. A replacement line is the way to go. These small diameter lines are difficult to flare PROPERLY and end up with a LEAK-FREE connection.
