Got a 58' with a heater motor that can barely be turned by hand and the wire is all mangled up. Is their a restorer out there that can rebuild these things with the correct brown wire and wir end plug or is there anyone that sales already restored motors??

They are fairly easy to do yourself. Take it apart, clean it up, put in new
brushes, lightly sand the armature, replace wire and end. Took about 3 hours to do mine.

I don't know where to find a brown 14 gauge wire and the correct end, any suggestions?Comment

Not to many left, but if you have an junkyard/salvage yard that has older GM cars you could get lucky and find the piece. Wish I was retired and could visit the metal recycling yard some mornings and buy usable parts off of the cars people bring on flat bed trailors to the establishment for metal salvage. At the other end of town the flattened cars stacked three high on semi-trailors going to the steel plant to be melted down.Comment
