I know at first we always used to pick on each other as good competitors should do. You are right those years were the best in this Hobby, when I needed a part and you did not have it I started Z06 Productions. As I remember it our spaces were next to each other at Carlisle.

I alway thought your Mom was the neatest Mom there ever was. I loved mine, but yours Mom WOW, who else would accompany their son to sell at a car meet that is beyond the call of duty.

I was just glad I could help her while she broke down on the side of the road and before someone could take advantage of her. God Bless our Mom's, Mom and Dad bought the Z06 for me as a Graduation present.

      Re: Is This Your Car?

Yes that is mine for at least until next Saturday night. It is lot 1294 and should be on TV between 6 and 9 EST unless a commercial blocks me out. That will be last time I get drive the car. I just hope I do not cry out loud on national TV, if I do please forgive me.

Yes, with what has been going on in this hobby lately. With all of the made up cars being advertised as original. I have all of the paper work and I did all of the restoration on the car myself. So I know what I have is genuine. That is why I have not sold any Z06 parts to anyone that I believed did not have a real Z06.

Thanks for of your support, that is what makes this hobby so great. I love the feeling of seeing something completed. Like being one of the founding members of both the New England Chapter and the Metro Chapter and now selling my best ride.

I enjoyed driving and racing my car, I enjoyed restoring and showing my car. Being in the Special Collection, Chips Choice, receiving the Duntov Award and a Bloominton Gold, being the Florida Chapter's Field of Dreams not once but twice were all great memories which I hopefully will never forget. The friends that I made at the shows and selling parts, helping other get started in Corvette parts business were all things I enjoyed but now is the time to sit back and enjoy life. I will not leave this hobby as it has been part of my life for so many years, I hope to be able to get to more shows and renew old friendships.

So for now to all, THANKS

                Re: Gone To Barrett-Jackson

Is it going to be "live" or has the sale/auction already taken place? If it hasn't it would be nice for some of our founding fathers to call the BJ people directly and ask that this car be showcased.....it is one of few

                        Re: Gone To Barrett-Jackson

I bought the car new, placed the order in Oct 1962, took delivery in June 1963. The are many pictures in many magazines. If you go to Z06vette.com click on the FORUMS button, then click on 63/01/02 Info you can see pictures and a story I wrote about the car. I you still want to see more I can send some to someone that can post them.
