Re: FI Air Cleaner
I don't know weather you can still get them but I wrote about a %90 correct cleaner 57 FI guys could get for their FI.
The in bossed numbers are wrong and the screen is a little incorrect but fit is perfect.
They were used in the Avonte blower cars ( don't know I spelled that right) and many tractors of the 50's.

Re: FI Air Cleaner JOE
I know but I wrote so many articles and cant find that one, many of my articles were rewritten by others, so some one els must know. I've been away from NCRS for many years and just got back in to it last year for my 55 in Park city, and on this forum . Now that's over I'll probably go back to just enjoying my Corvettes again by just driving them.
I like NCRS but burned out,I like the forum but like many other cars too that I have.
I find it more enjoyable "showing" a classic that Isn't a Maga money car.

Re: FI Air Cleaner JOE
Roy..I remember the article about the FI fuel filter element in an early SACE magazine if that helps jog your memory..I probably have that issue somewhere.
I bought a one owner black 59 LeSabre..and love the reaction I get driving it..so I know where you are coming from..
Another Corvette friend down in Texas just bought a one owner low mileage 62 black buick wagon as below.
Both the 59 LeSabre and the 62 wagon have their original finned brake drums. The 364 Nailhead in the LeSabre is a pretty cool looking engine and the triple turbine Dynaflow is smooth as silk.
