68 corvette choke pulloff pod?

Just wondering...what did the original choke pulloff pod look like for 68 quadrajet. I have see steel pods, 1/2 plastic 1/2 steel pods (I think I recall that), gray and black plastic and cream white plastic pod. I believe the cream white all plastic pod is correct but I was just wondering. Terry

If you are talking about the fast idle cam, I can tell you that mine is a tan colored plastic. It was probably cream colored at one time. Mine, like most, is cracked but is still fully functional.

Henry, I know what you are talking about. The thing I am talking about is the vaccum pod that has the diaphram in it that pulls the choke off after the engine is warmed up. Its a little round disk thingy. Thanks, Terry

Terry, my '68 207 carb has a cream colored, all plastic pod. The pod has a large S with a bar running horizonally through the center of it, located in the top center of the pod. Below the S are the letters CPA. My '69 has a white plastic pod with no markings. G.
