carpet ed jennings i am about to imbark on installing some new carpeting in my i didn't own a vette in those days but the cars i did own did not have the carpeting glued in rather it was held in by the various trim pieces and the seats it could be removed to clean or to dry out if necessary is the carpet actually supposed to be glued or is this some notion of present day restorers it sure is a pain to remove the old carpet and if it were desireable to remove the new it would be destroyed in the process

re carpet p terry i have an original and had to replace the carpet a few years ago sorry but it was glued down the glue was used sparingly though good luck
