    C-1 water temp. gauge

When I move my ignition switch to the on position the temperature needles go all the way to the right and stays there. Any recommendations for cause and solution will be appreciated.

      Nicholas... Try removing the wire...

...from the temp sending unit. With the key on, see what the reading is on your gauge. If not to full right, the problem is likely with the sending unit. Touch the sending unit wire to ground - gauge should go full right. You may find an assistant helps in quickly and easily doing this test.

Yeah, Rob... You're Right... That Rare...

...dealer installed optional engine coolant level gauge. Can also be installed to monitor your oil level in the pan, OR, the little known application, to monitor the rain water level in the cockpit of your bubbletop 55. Only one of those known to be sold... Documentation to follow...

You may not have ground contact if you used teflon tape to seal the temp sending unit
