We have seen the pictures of the big garages on this forum, but here is one of the smallest:
There is probably one smaller out there, but with the garage door closed the inside measures 10' wide by 15'-3" long. But there is a 1'popout in back and if my lights are down, I gain 6".
Built in the 30's and remodeled in the 50's, it features a rough 2x12 wood plank floor. It sits on a sidehill, and has an underfloor area with standing room for about a third of the car. So I cut out a 2' slot in the planks down the center and now I can work on the underside of the car.
When I bought it from the estate across the street about a dozen years ago, it had a Model T pickup truck in it which was purchased new by the couple who lived across the street from me. Story goes that the pickup truck was named "Lizzie" after the horse which it replaced. Some restorer got the pickup, but I got the garage.
Well back to the garage, it's easy to work on the car in the garage, if you remember which side you want to work on, and park on the opposite side.
Anybody got a smaller one?
