No, but it sure makes my '67 small-block "rare"; not only that, but mine's a base engine (300hp) - does that make it "1 of 1"?

Wayne, I think as a corvette gets older it gets fatter (like people do) so it would only stand to reason the engine would get fatter too to the tune of 100 cubic inches. I've been keeping my small blocks on a low fat diet with regular exercise so they will not become big fat big blocks.

In 20 years base engine, low option cars will be bringing the big bucks because they are so rare.

I wish I could buy a camaro for $800K or a new grand sport, their starting to build now starting at 400K of 500k. Iam 54 (I hope going on 25)cars have always been a piss'in contest. I have this, you got that, Mine has this, Mine has that, Mine is rare they only made this many,I have paper work goes on and on the hemi guys the ford guys same story blah blah blah everybody has their view which is great! I just dont have the patience anymore for all the BS blah blah blah, if you like your car great, doesnt mean I have to! and vice versa I dont care who is selling what or buying what(or it) at BJ. If you like it and can buy it, good for you. When you think you got your finger on it something comes up and knocks you for a loop. my two 1/2 cents of blah blah blah Phil 8063

1 of 2 John, mine's similar to yours

except for the interior and condition. Thanks for the pictures of the carpet flap, and the master cylinder. Pretty soon mine may be halfway to yours, but still very rare to me. Working on my score sheet and signed up for Flagstaff in April. Hope to see you there.

"FOR SALE" Ad from the (not too distant?) future: "For Sale, 1967 300HP, Low option Corvette Coupe, All original, numbers matching, $155,000. If not sold by Jan. 1, it will be going to Barrett-Jackson!"

I'm interested. Always have been after seeing the color. However, all that I can offer might be lucky to pay for an engine rebuild for you.

                  That's life some days.
