    Head lights???

Maybe someone can help me out with this one. I just got the 78 Pace Car running again, only need a few more parts for Ca. smog laws. Anyhow, after the initial fire up and a quick run around the block I discovered that my right head light was out. Here's the kicker, when the low beams are on the right light is out, but when the high beams are on all of them work. Am I missing something here? I beat my head against the wall trying to find out what was wrong until I ran out of daylight. Any help or suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance. Jeff

    Re: Head lights???

The 'low beam' headlights contain both a low and high beam filament. That's why there's three wires ( the third is a ground). High beams contain just one filament and have only two wires.

You have a burnt out or disconnected low beam filament on the passenger side.

Hope your headache gets better by the time the sun comes up.
