    Re: Proper stable look w/ dust shields '66 BB

    Hi group;
    Got my car back now ready to assemble. On the dust shields I have the right staples and have installed them, but would like to know if anyone has a picture or knows where I can see one on how the back side of the staples are to be folded? From my sources they are to look like how a staple would appear from a normal stapler. I think I've accomplihed this look, but before the engine is installed I would to make sure I'm correct.
    Thanks,
    Jim Hilton

    Jim,

    I recently looked at the original factory staples on my dust shields, and agree the backside looks like the same fold that a normal stapler would leave.

      I was able to roll the ends like a stapler using a needle nose plier.
