Years back I installed "Factory Air" into our 67 coupe. The donor unit is from an earlier year than 67 therefore it has a Suction Throttling Valve instead of a POA valve. My question is which system is more reliable? Also, anyone know of a suppliet for correct dated and stamped foil sticker on compressor? Thanks! Al W.

Al - I see no one jumped right on this, so here's my 2 cents. I think the POA valve system is probably more reliable. Couple of reasons - 1) the diaphragm in the STV system generally fails after some time and needs to be replaced and 2) hopefully the engineers who designed the systems had reliability along with other features in the equation when they speced the POA valve for use over the STV.
As for the foil Frigidaire label, my suggestion is you get one without the code, i.e., date already on the label and use typewriter and put it on. I think Paragon had one with the code blank. Sometime ago LICS had on with the code already on it but the code was an October 1966 date (too late for September cars and too early for many cars built in CY 1967. Good luck. Pete
