Just to make sure I did the install of my wiper arm assy. correctly I thought I would run it past yall. The wiper motor drive arm which is inside the car is pointing at 3:00 o'clock. The transmission's trianglular shaped mounting flange has a recess in its face to fit over the windshield lower framework, so the recess must be installed in the up position, for both sides. I applied my sealant caulk onto this mounting flange before mounting transmissions. I then applied a thin layer of grease on the wiper motor drive arm. Now according to the AM the driver side arm goes onto the wiper motor arm first, resulting in the wide end of the brass bushing, facing to the front of the car. Then the rubber washer/bushing goes on to the wiper motor drive arm. Next, the passenger side arm goes onto the motor drive arm. Then attached clip. My transmission arms are now pointing: Driver side is pointing up at about a 1-2:00 o'clock. Passenger side is pointing downward at 5:00 o'clock. I believe this is right. If this isn't right, I'd rather find out now than later. This area would be a real B ch to work on after the car is back together. Thanks Dick Gutman
