    OT..Is there a special tool

    to remove the spark plug wire / metal cover and spring from spark plugs on a 2001 Suburban?

    I struggled through the drivers side..but there must be a better way.

      they are called "spark plug boot pullers" and the larger auto parts should have several different types.

          Clem..thanks..I will check it out. I wanted to put in new plugs before I make the long trip to Kissimmee.
