The info from Holley is vague but indicates that the #6213 is an 800 CFM Q-Jet replacement for some American Motors engine. No year of application is listed. Must be for 68-69?
The date would be the later series that used four digits instead of three so it's likely a later replacement for the replacement. I never seem to be able to remember how the new four digit system works either. Someone will post and tell us how that works but I'll probably forget it again within days.
Probably 1973 or 1983, 254th day. They changed from the 3 digit day code on GM cars for model year 1973. I'm not so sure that the 3 digit code wasn't just a GM thing, and that it was applicable to other manufacturers.

1973 could very well be right. I had the 454 block rebuilt and it resides in a 61 Impala bubble top ( yet to be finished ). I checked the block and it is dated H10 73
The 6210 was a 650 CFM q-jet performance replacement for the 396.
The 6211 was a stock -type replacement 800 CFM carb for the 1969 427 and the 1970 454. The 6212 was for the same application but had performance (richer) jetting. The 6213 had the performance jetting and the center hung float bowls. I have used these carbs on my BB engines with really good results! Just remember they are all double pumpers so you can't go to WOT at low revs like a vac secondary unless you have an automatic with a looser converter.
