    63 Dash Pad Removal

I'm replacing the passenger side dash pad on my 63 convertible. I have all the clips out and have removed the two nuts as well. I still can't lift the pad out since I can't get enough clearance for the two bolts to make it out of their holes. I'm doing this with the dash still in the car. Any suggestions appreciated.
    Thanks
    John

I removed mine with the dash out of the car. However I think it should lift out the way you have it. Did you remove all the clips that are in the radio area?

On mine I had to remove the glovebox frame. There wasn't enough clearance for the threaded studs to move.

Thanks I had the glove box frame out but after reading your message I used a little more force and was able to get the treaded studs out of their holes and the pad came right out after that, the new pad went in with no problem.
