Two 1970 questions

Unrelated, but here they are:

1. Which window crank handle is correct for the '70: the black, white, or clear knob? I have the blue interior.

2. I have an original ad for 1970 that says :"See it Feb.26, at your Chevrolet Sports Dept." Was Feb.26 the first official release date for the '70. This being due to the strike in '69? My protect-o-plate shows a delivery date of 2/26/70 also. It also has a number 0008 to the right of the delivery date. What is that?

Door handle knob should be black.

As I recall my 1970 showed at the dealer around the 15th of February. I had to take delivery the last day of February -- I think 1970 was a leap year, but I don't have access to my PoP or a 1970 calendar at this instant. The build date on mine is A29, so mid-February is normal delivery I would guess. We will have to find someone who took delivery of an earlier 1970 to really know the display timeframe. The earliest production 1970 Corvettes were built A05.
I will have to look at the car to confirm the window knob question. Since mine has a blue interior it will be telling. I have learned not to post those details without checking.

1970 was not a leap year, but that really has not much to do with the question.

1) My Bright Blue interior has black knobs on the window cranks. I would suggest a check of the TIM&JG would yield the same results, but I to am too lazy to look it up.
2) My PoP shows 2/28/70 with nothing like the number you have. Must have meant something to your dealer.
