'66 small block a.i.r. mix valve#

I have two valves, both stamped GM, one has 26295 and the other 33597 stamped. Are either of these valves original for a '66 small block? Physically, they appear correct, but I assumed the part# from the assembly manual would be on them.

I don't think that either valve is correct for a Corvette. However, I don't know what they are correct for. From what I an tell, it's not Chevrolet, although they could be for a truck application.

The 1966 Corvette small block valve should be stamped "36195".

One of the valves with 26295 appears to have the original bracket that mounts to the air cleaner stud...the # sure is close to the one you posted, what do you think?

Joe,

Upon comparing the valves to pictures of originals, I see now that on the ones I have, there is a small diameter outlet for a hose on top, that is not on originals. I see now that they are not physically the same.
