Greg-----
Yes, you can. However, there MAY be a slight difference in the script on the radio dial lens and/or the configuration of the stereo indicator light. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: 1969 Stereo AM/FM same as '71 ?
The 1969 Stereo radio had a little red "Stereo" indicator that came on when a stereo broadcast was being received. My recollection...I could be wrong.. is that this red lighted "Stereo" was triggered on by an internal mechanical relay. There was... if my memory is not being too imaginative.. a little click when the stereo light came on. I don't know about 1971's. I have a 1970 Corvette with a stereo radio and I think the 1970 is different. Unfortunately I can't just check these things out right now. The 1970 is dissasembled and the 1969 was stolen!!!- Top

Greg:
1970 & 1971 stereo equipped radios have stereo in block lettering that lights up, the lettering is green. I believe 1969 is the same. 1972 uses a orange dot that lights up in stereo equipped radios and lettering is white.- Top
