62-65 Carter AFB Carbs and Manifolds

Will a modern Edelbrock AFB ("Performer") carb bolt up to a 62-65 Corvette intake manifold?

I know the choke, gas line, and throttle linkage are different. I just want to make sure that the modern Edelbrock base will bolt to the original manifold, and that the throttle plates are not restricted by the manifold.

The Edelbrock will bolt up to the 65 intake. It has a dual bolt pattern that allows it to bolt to the wider Holley type pattern or the narrower AFB pattern. I'm currenly running an Edelbrock 1406 with electric choke on my 65 coupe, but with a 66 intake. I've got the 65 intake to swap out. Can't say positively that there is no interference, but there doesn't appear to be. If you're not planning on doing something right away, I can let you know how it works out.
