    65 Small Block Driveshaft

    Hi, My driveshaft [trans to R/A] has got a small balancing weight near one end only. Would this be the front or the rear of the driveshaft or does it make any difference. I never had a driveshaft in the car when I bought it [stripped] and I bought a driveshaft without the yoke so I don`t have a clue. Thanks, Mike

      I just removed mine on my 1966 the weight is the front.

              Mike - the weight that you're referring to, on my 66, is located on the front of the driveshaft. It's barely visble near the emergency parking brake linkage of the photo I've attached. Hope this helps. Hector
