I have a Master Cylinder with Part # 5455509 What years did this come on the Corvette? Thanks

This is a 1" bore master cylinder. If it's coded "DC" on the front, half-moon shaped machined surface, then it's a Corvette master cylinder.

This master cylinder was used for all 1967 Corvette EXCEPT J-56 and for all 1968-76 with manual brakes. Versions of this master cylinder used for 1967 through about 1973 have bleeder valves. Later versions do not. the 1973-76 versions may have the broadcast code stamped elsewhere besides the half-moon shaped surface (which doesn't exist on many of these later ones).

The '509' casting was also used for other non-Corvette master cylinders, too. These can usually be converted to the Corvette configuration, though.
