1976 Trim Tag Question

My 76 was made in late 75. Should my trim tag be painted or bare metal? Thanks!

I believe your car was built during a transition period in which trim tags were painted...haven't been able to figure out the precise break point. It was during this point the trim tag station was moved from the end of the paint line/start of the trim line to inbetween the 1st and 2nd paint booth. So they were painted without primer but with color coat.
