Exceptions/Declarations Or what is called the Green sheet, are they still asking to have it filled out??
I remember back in the 80"s when they first started that because C2 owners wonted it because C1 owners dint have a trim tag to tell what color the C1's came in.
That drove many C1 owners out of NCRS because now they were put on the spot to weather tell if they changed the body color which in turn may change interior color.
Because many C1's were changed from white to ? They would now lose any chance to flight a Corvette when in the past they did. They would take a big hit now.
So am I right on this point??

I too have a restamped block. To be honest, I have not looked to see if it would pass the broach mark inspection test. It was done a long time ago, before I even heard of broach marks back when I thought I was going to show it. Since then I have been driving it. I will never represent it as original in a sale. I have thought about adding an asterick on the end of the stamping to keep it from being represented as original after my death. But think of how many members have carbs with reproduced or replaced tags, distributors, starters and generators with new or replaced plates riveted to them. A reproduction belt or hose or dated glass with correct part numbers and date stamps. Where do you draw the line on what constitutes second class status? Many of the same folks that consider a re-stamped block a sin, probably have one or more of the above mentioned items on their car. As Tracy said, a lot of members would be in the same second class boat.

          How about a replacement interior?

I don't see ANY NOS interiors for sale! All the nice interiors on the show cars are likely aftermarket. In all fairness, the judges should use a "BROACH BUSTER" scope and magnify the weave pattern to measure it and firmly declare it a "FAKE".

Please don't take that comment seriously, it was only meant to show the absolute craziness of how stamp pads are treated. If you can't tell with the unaided eye alone, it should be considered OK for judging.
