No driveline as of yesterday's mail here in Mass and I see some others have already gotten theirs on Monday of this week....ok that's 5 days ago...what's the chance of me getting equal chance to buy something worth buying -0-.... Can we start a program that everybody puts their copy away until it is known that all members have receivied theirs then at a agreed upon date and time everyone opens their at the same moment so no one gets a "first crack at" opportunity:)

Re: No driveline today
What would be wrong with sending it out first class in a plastic envelope like other quality magazines. Send it out third class trash mail and it sets on post office loading docks until they feel like delivering it. That is why the delivery is so staggered across the country. I had the same problem with another magazine I received and was told this is the problem. As far as it going electronic, I don't believe it will ever happen. If it takes increasing the dues to send it out first class let's do it. I'm tired of getting my Driveline 3 to 4 weeks late. Makes for good picture looking I guess. I received mine two days ago on the 25th. Whats that... 25 days into the delivery month. Could be a lot worse I guess. Acouple times I didn't receive it at all. I'll turn the soap box over to someone esle now. Jerry Murphy 3179- Top

Re: No driveline today
I live in Sudbury, Massachusetts and I received mine on Tuesday of this week.
I responded to a member's ad via e-mail and did not receive the courtesy of a reply. Always seems by the time I get the Driveline, either the stuff is already sold or the seller doesn't even have the courtesy to reply to a fellow member. Guess it is a useful publication for those who receive it early enough to take advantage of it, but not as helpful for those of us who receive it after everyone else. Just my 2 cents,

Re: No driveline today
Ok lets face it. This problem isn't going to go away. Same thing everytime a new issue comes out. Lets voice our thoughts of maybe raising the dues $5.00 to the head honchoes and solve this problem once and for all. Send it FIRST CLASS MAIL.
5.00 is very reasonable and is not going to bankrupt anyone.- Top

Can afford to play with an old Corvette?
Then an NCRS member can certainly afford to pay more dues for First Class postage.
At this rate there won't be an electronic Driveline until the current generation of dinosaurs have all turned into crude oil. And yes, I'm one of the dinosaurs who would like to see an internet Driveline. It's just that my bro's won't get off their walkers to make it happen...- Top
