    '67 F41 shock date code

I need a quick refresher course in date coding 101. I'm holding my hands out, knuckles up, so get your rulers ready. On a pair of heavy duty rear shocks ('67), I have a date of 1 B 67, & 1 E 67. That would be 2nd & 5th week of January, '67? This is a mid Feb car. Wack away, mine host.

Regarding the F-41 shocks: I think the date code for the rear was Julian date system: The number of the day and the year: i.e. 12-67 the 12 day 1967.

The Front shocks were day-month and year.

If I understand correctly, these are replacement shocks, the part numbers are the same, but the originals were julian dates, the service replacements were d-m-y as typical, B & E are Feb, May. My first thought was just wishful thinking. Anyone curious can drop me a line for a couple of pics.
      Thanks

        Pictures of each shock.
The question remains - original or service replacement? I'm still getting both answers.
        Thanks,
        Rich

Per the 67 Judging Manual , F41 shocks used DDMMYY (day, month, year). So, by the photo, 1E67, it translates to May 1, 1967.

I forgot the other shock and that would be Feb 1, 1967.
