I am looking at buying a '67 big block, the numbers on the hood look to close to the front of the hood. The AIM seems greek to me, could someone with a '67 427 measure on the drivers side from the front of the hood insert (baffle or whatever it is called) to the begining (front) of the 4. Also the numers have two studs per number and one smaller guide stud, does the guide stud hole go all the way thru the hood? I know there is no speednut on it.
Jeremy ...The number four is about 5 inches back from the face of the insert and the guide studs holes go through the hood so the ends of the studs are visible from the underside.
