    60 Ignition Switch

Went out to let the '60 go through the 4-5 minute cycle of setting the choke and kicking off the fast idle - first get the fuel to the unit; cranking it over and decided to rest the starter - turned key off, starter kept turning; pulled battery cable - removed switch, assuming that I had somehow burned through it and made it toast. Upon examination, though, the "IGN" terminal on the back of the switch was loose and MAY have made contact with the terminal marked "SOL" - would this make everything dead when I turned the key again? Or have I just voided my 45 year ignition switch warranty? Thanks in advance.

You may also want to check your starter selnoid. It may have welded or stuck together. I am pretty sure that power to other componets is shut down, when you turn the key to start. But, I may be wrong.
