I found a switch marked #9799850 GR-4.075, Could someone with know how please inform me of it application?

All that I can tell you is that it's a transmission-controlled spark component for some Pontiac application, although it could also have some non-Pontiac applications, too. I can't find any Chevrolet applications, though. It was discontinued from SERVICE in May, 1984.

Thank you very much for looking this up for me. Can you or anyone else tell me if there is a difference between this switch and part #3961567. Are these two TCS switches interchangeable?

Robert, Mr. Lucia is correct about your #9799850 switch fitting Pontiac. Specific applications are '70-'72 A-body, and '70-'71 Grand Prix, all with three or four speed, and '71-'72 Firebird with four speed. The same switch is also used on '70-'73 Buick A-body with three or four speed. I don't have any info as to interchangeability with #3961567.
