Anybody on this "augusut forum" have any personal knowledge / seen in person, etc. on Tom Atchison's 1963 Z06? He has it FOR SALE in the most recent DRIVELINE and I have only read stories about the car. Really looking for any and all information anyone may have on the car. TIA Rick

Re: Looking for Information from Youse Guys-n-Gals
What is it that you want to know? Tom is the original owner of this Z06, and whenever you are buying this kind of car documentation is critical; and Tom has the documentation.
As a side note, Tom not only bought one Z06, but he bought two. He wrecked his firts one, and then went back to the chevy dealership and bought the one he has now.
Feel free to email me with any questions.

Richard,
thanks for the response - really wanting to know if folks have personally looked at the car; have any folks actually judged the car from an NCRS and/or Bloomington perspective, and if so, how long ago did the car achieve GOLD and TOP FLIGHT - those kind of questions
FYI - know some things about the car, just trying to learn more - Tom has a 2001 Z06, and I have a 1963/2001 combo just like him, except both of mine are black!Rick Aleshire

Re: Looking for Information from Youse Guys-n-Gals
Tom's car was flight judged at Waco about five or six years ago. I don't know how it fared. Maybe someone else knows how it judged. There are two things that I know are not original, Tom had the dealer paint white stripes down the middle of the car when he bought it and he had the original wheels chromed. He does have the original hub caps. As Richard said, he has loads of documentation with the car.- Top
