C3 Carpet Plugs

Time to get my 69 ready and fix the stuff found lst year, so here is the first of what will likely be many questions over the next few weeks.

One of the interior judges wrote that the carpet plugs I have are the wrong part number and size. I just checked the TIM&JG, and the part number appears to be correct (3868790 in the book and on my plugs). The size of my plugs is aboug 1" diameter, with about a 3/8" hole in the center, but the book doesn't reference size.

Do these sound correct, or is there another plug that isn't covered in the book?

E-Mail the rubber plug expert and ask the judge what was wrong with your plugs. On the line where the deduction was taken what was the reason?

Thanks Lyle, and everyone who emailed me info. It sounds like my plugs might be correct after all. The reason listed on the sheet were wrong part number and size (no detail on too big/small). I missed this item in my own notes, so I don't recall if they told me anything else or not. It may have been a minor mistake, we'll see at the next Flight Judging.

Jon, to the best of my knowledge that part # just comes in one size. Sounds like yours are correct
