Can anyone help with the number that I found on a replacement 9 leaf rear spring? The numbering is quite faded. However, it appears to be (21-307-249-B) or (21-307-219-B). One can see faded gray paint on the leafs and the link cushion retainers appeared factory installed. The spring was found on a 66 BB which I’ve changed out with a correct 7 leaf unit.
Those numbers are not GM numbers. The 307 looks familiar to me as a number asssigned by the Spring Research Institute that a repro spring make might use.
