    C3 Registry launch!!!

    To all,

After countless requests we have decided to also launch a C3 version of the C1 and C2 Registries. So, we are proud to present the grand opening of the C3 Registry as of today. This registry can be reached via http://www.c3registry.org !

I've took the liberty to enter the first car myself, our Daytona Yellow/Black 1969 BB convertible.

Feel free to also enter your car (all free of charge), upload all those nice pictures and administer the current and previous owners of these beautiful babies.

In time we will also enrich the download area and the vintage ads and article area with C3 related files (as currently available in the other registries).

I'm looking forward to see your cars added...

    greetings,
    Rob Musquetier

          Re: C3 Registry launch!!!

          Hi Rob:

After registering and filling out the info to add my car to the Registry I received an error message when I tried to save the input. It said to check to see if cookies were accepted. I have my computer set to delete cookies at logout and have no interest in allowing cookies to be stored on my computer. Any way around this?. Thanks, Bill

              FYI....

There is also another registry for the C3 in case you are interested. http://www.c3vr.com

I just happen to have it in my list of links because I used to own a 1980.

                Rob,

I also tried to add my car and got the error message about cookies. I changed my Internet Privacy settings to accept cookies from www.c3registry.org and tried again to add my car and I still get the same error message.

                  Re: registered, fatal error

This is absolutely a cookie error. To 'remember you' after a page is loaded your user name is stored in a cookie file. Otherwise the server has no idea who you are as soon as a new page is loaded. Some way the cookie file which should get created in the Cookies directory on your PC can't be created. Mostly this is configurable in your browser.

Tonight(my nigts that is) appr. 25 cars has been added so other people are able to add their car(s). It seems a local problem. Could you let me know which browser and browser version your are using?

                  greetings,
                  Rob.

                    Re: C3 Registry launch!!!

                    Bill,

Removing cookies after logout shouldn't be a problem. It just causes you to fill in your user ID since it will be forgetten next time you log-in.

During a session (without closing the browser) you shouldn't have this problem. There must be another (cookie) related problem going on here...

                    greetings,
                    Rob.

                      Re: registered, fatal error

The newly created domain c3registry.org currently doesn't seem to send cookie using Internet Explorer (other browsers work fine). I'm working on this together with my hosting company; I'll send an update when this is fixed.

                      Sorry for the inconvinience,
                      Rob.
