Good day Corvetters, need some further education. Am currently prospecting a 1966 Corvette with the seller having only the protecto-plate to validate some options. He indicates the protecto indicates the following:
1. Cars complete vin number
2. Engine that was in the car when it left the factory
3. Transmission that was in the car when it left the factory
4. Rear end and ratio that was in the car when it left the factory
5. Original Exterior color of the car
6. Original Interior color of the car
7. Engine assembly date of the engine, which was stamped on the engine pad
at the Tonawanda engine plant for big blocks.
Would this be correct information? Thanks in advance. Regards, Mike #28614
