    "Final Assembly Point" book

At Carlisle a couple of years ago there was a guy selling copies of a book he had written called "Final Assembly Point" about the St. Louis Corvette plant. I didn't buy one and wish I did. Anyone know where I can get one? Thanks.

    Richard,

The book I believe you're referring to was entitled "Birthplace of Legends" and the author is an NCRS member, I think. Check the book section of your latest driveline or perhaps Motorbooks in Osceola, WI. Peter J. Licastro was the author.

I bought it and it's a great piece, especially the factory assembly shots.

    Good luck finding it!

The Birthplace of Legends is available from the NCRS Store
