I am restoring a 66 roadster with L79 and air conditioning. On the passenger side of firewall there is one red and one black wire that hang down approximately a foot below the starter.I assume the red wire is suppossed to go to the positive terminal on the starter and the black to ground.I purchased this harness new from Lectric Limited and I am assumming they made a mistake in the length of these two wires...
Any input on this matter would be appreciated.......
Lectric does a pretty good job in my opinion of getting end-to-end routing, length, color codes proper to the GM print. I'm not "wild" about the quality of assy I've experienced from them, but that's just one opinion. What does the GM wiring diagram from '66 say here? Use both standard wiring as well as C-60 diagrams to trace/identify these leads by color/guage.
