74 Diverter valve

Just picked up a 74 L-82 4 speed car, lots of smog equipment came with the car, including a set-up that looks like it came off the car....diverter valve stamped # is 29199.....is this correct for this application??

Alec my '74 assemble manual says part No. 7029199 for your car, look again, the 70 may be there.

For diverter valves, usually only the last 5 digits of the valve GM part number is stamped on the valve as an "ID" number. The complete part number is only found on the box that the SERVICE valve is supplied in.
