Was wondering if there are any repro seat belt labels that can be restamped and are NCRS acceptable ? Also who is providing this service ? Thanks in advance...

Re: 1969 Seat Belt Label ?
I'd think that SSnake-Oyl would be able to create a pretty much original seat belt, including all the "labels." I don't exactly know what you mean by the word "label," but I'd guess it's the little white fabric tag maybe an 1 and 1/2 inches square that's sewn on the seat belt. Ssnake-Oyl does those. I've had my seat belts/shoulder belts and T-top straps for a 1970 redone by these people. I was really happy with their work. I'm sure that other's have had more experience with redoing seat belts/labels. I don't know how acceptable NCRS is to their work, but in my conversations wiht they appeared to be very knowledgeable about NCRS standards.
PS: I was very impressed with the quality of my seat/shoulder belt restoration. When I had them re-do the T-top straps, they made a mistake. When I telephoned, them, they immediately had all of our documented conversations. After a review of our messages, they immediately recognized their error and were very polite, I sent the T-top straps back, and they corrected everything quickly.- Top

Re: 1969 Seat Belt Label ?
The repro warning labels near the buckles are a different material than originals for 1968-Dec. 1971 and will lose a point for that. Those labels were a thin silk-like fabric that frayed easily. That is why they are usually missing or barely hanging on. About January 1972, the material changed to a thicker fabric and that is what is available today.- Top
