I have a color postcard from 1957 titled Paddock area, Grand Prix Road Race Watkins Glen, N.Y. The view is of the paddock area prior to an International Road Race. In the picture is car 136 a black 56 or 57 corvette, red interior. I would be happy to send this card to the current owner of this car, if it still exists. Anyone remember the car? brad

sorry I dont have scanner and I tried to take digital picture and paste to post with no success. The view is of 22 race cars and a few parked jags. Most of the cars are mgas,xk140s and a couple porsches. Only one vette, the black one in the foreground but the post card is small so the faces are barely, but clearly visible. The vette has no hubcaps, taped headlights and the numbers 136 in yellow tape on the trunk and passenger door, with a couple people working on the front. Kind of sad for me to remember my Dad taking me to Watkins Glen as a wide-eyed five year old in 1958 and he is now gone...Comment
