It says in my third edition judging guide (p. 61) that the area UNDER THE GILLES including the wiper arm shafts is painted with blackout over body color.
This is confusion to me and my painter.
My car is Ermine White.
Today the area under the grilles looks like white overspray of what could be considered black underneath. We're not sure yet. (It's mostly white but not finished like on the outside body.)
Is it correct to have this area cleaned up and "painted" black OR should it be painted Ermine White and finshed as close to the body's color?
