    windshield wiper transmission screw 1963

    For some reason I failed to bag and ID the screws that secure the windshield wiper transmissions. Could someone provide information on what was the correct fastener?

      Ray,

      Speeking from memory here but I believe they are (5/16 socket size) small indented head hex screws (small circle w/ EL logo inside) Approx.1" long, the thread size is #8 or #10. I think they are similar to the wiper motor attachment screws. If no one else responds I will go out in the garage later and double check for you. Make sure to put some strip caulk around the transmissions before installing to the cowl so there is no water leak.

          I was the type of screw I thought was used. I found them in my under dash screws , but there was two different lengths and three of each length.
