I am mulling over changing a black interior out of a maroon car (and putting/keeping the original parts in my rec room for future back to original specs) to a tan interior and tan top, which I think set's off the maroon color. What would I have to change out beside the normal seats, door panels and carpets. Thank

Re: changing interior on a 67
the 67 "saddle" was more of a brown color, so if you make it "tan" it isnt going to look correct anyway. Also 67 didnt have a tan top option, so you might as well keep your black dash and just change whatever you want so you like it (i.e. door panels, carpet and seats.

Re: changing interior on a 67
Larry,
If you really want to "set off" the interior you could install a WHITE interior.(Seats, door panels, visors and rear strip only)....You would not have to change the dash pads or carpet from your original black and you could use a black or white top......quite an eye catcher.....good luck with your 67 and enjoy driving and showing it.- Top

Thanks Rick
Yes Rick, I have seen one with white interior and it also is a very nice looking car. I was going with white but then a NEW tan interior popped up on E-Bay so it got me thinking, but I must admit I thought a tan top was a option till I looked at my book. Jim's car will make you think, though!! Thanks- Top
