Re: Yeah, What He Said...!!!
Go back to Corvetting?? As for me, I can live without all the Super Hype etc. and it was held here in my Hometown!!! Obviously, I am not a footbball fan. But, it certainly gave Detroit some well deserved attention as well as a 6 year sprucing up which to me is more important.

Re: Yeah, What He Said...!!!
Wow, is right ...those refs do they have to attend "The Mob" judging school and if so where is it....do they have a UREF college? I know when they retire they just disappear never to be seen again...like Jimmy Hoffa sort of...scary indeed- Top

Seattle Really Won
The way I look at it is very simple.....The refs really gave one to Pittsburgh that they didn't deserve (21 - 7 = 14).....and they robbed Seattle of another TD (10 + 7 = 17) So....Seattle 17 and Pittsburgh 14 'nuf said!- Top

Re: Right-on, whatever ... same in college ball, b
One more post on this subject and then I'm done. My apologies to the non-football fans on the board.
Skip Bayless says the 12th man was on Pittsburgh's side in Super Bowl XL ... and it was a man wearing stripes.
As if the pro-Pittsburgh crowd weren't enough, the Seahawks also faced some hometown officiating, writes Michael Smith.

Re: steelers
The officials were BRUTAL.....really took the game away from Seattle with the three really bad calls......timing is everything in these "one game winner takes all" situations. But Seattle dropped far too many passes and made too many other mistakes soooo......the officials won't ever get the FULL blame they deserve.......those three bad calls all came at a critical point in the game. IF Seattle had played well enough to overcome those three bad calls......we would have a REALLY GREAT SUPERBOWL....one for the ages. As it is, Pittsburgh won.....just like life isn't it.......
PS: I'm happy for CLEM,JOHN and TONY.....and MATILDA of course....LOL.- Top
