Actually, it looks like the carburetor from a 1950-51 Mercury flathead.

Hi all

You are right Clem. That is a carter carb. for a 1949&50 Oldsmobile Rocket V8. I owned a 1950 Olds for thirty years however it certainly was not injected.

You're not losing it. One like that came on the Merc flathead too. My '49 Olds also had one very similar.

Sure looks like it came offen my '46 IHC with the 586" Continental engine.

It's the original FI unit for the little-known

"1953" V8 in Kerbeck's "Motorama" EX-122 car!!!! Call Curly, Moe & Larry and have the corporate jet warmed up - maybe NCRS can give them another Award?
