First off, I apologize for all the questions I have asked regarding info on parts, dates, etc. which could have been answered by myself with the aid of the judging manual and assembly sheets. I had no intentions of becoming so involved with the 'correctness" and historic details (All be it somewhat elusive having no build sheet) of my first corvette but soon found myself drawn to the fact that each of these beauties has their own "family tree" and that returning them to there glory days is the ultimate thanks to the folks who built them originally. I have always been the kid who just couldn't wait to get that model or toy home without opening it first! So that is my feeble excuse for Attacking without properly being armed. The excitement of dismantling and finding out the cars secrets just kept going. The short of this LONG post is that I received my judging and assembly manuals today (Along with my #33749) and have mailed my corvette restorer app. as well. I promises to do all I can to read, understand and research ALL available info before I ask you to give your valuable time to questions you have already answered in print!
Thank you for all your knowledgeable assistance in the past and will save the tough questions for the future! Best regards, David Smith
